Simulate navigation

Route simulation moves the user along the route, plays voice prompts, and triggers reroute logic as if the device were driving. Use it in development and QA, not in production end-user builds.

Concepts align with Simulate navigation on Android and iOS simulate navigation for the native SDKs.

Enable simulation

Set shouldSimulateRoute on the view and pass the same flag when you start navigation:

Headless sessions

Production builds

Omit shouldSimulateRoute (or set it to false) so guidance uses live GPS. Ensure location permissions are granted before starting real navigation.
