Hazmat and Hub Routing

If the PC*Miler HazMat data add-on feature is licensed and installed, you can generate routing for hazardous materials using the following functions:

• PCMSSetHazOption changes the hazmat setting type based on general classifications in North America, Europe, and Oceania.
• PCMSSetHazTunnelOption can be used to set tunnel restrictions categories for hazmat routing in Europe.

Hub Routing

Hub routing calculates routing from a central hub location to many locations (like spokes on a wheel). In PC*Miler Connect, the function PCMSSetHubMode turns hub routing on or off when you call PCMSCalculate for a given trip.

The first stop added to a trip with PCMSAddStop is the origin/hub and the subsequent stops are the destinations.
